This letter is my personal recommendation for Michelle Macdonald. I have been a co-worker with Michelle at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Vancouver Island since September 2006. Over that time, I found Michelle to demonstrate outstanding leadership, organization skills, and always a pleasure to work with. Michelle was an excellent leader to the children, especially when she dealt with some of the boys and girls one on one. Not only is Michelle a leader to the children at Boys and Girls Club, but she is a great team player and I looked forward to working with her everyday. Patient, interested, and enthusiastic, Michelle went about her duties with a “whatever it takes” attitude. As well, she would always consider any extra duties that needed to be done around the club. Michelle has planned various activities for the children to enjoy of all ages. She would take into consideration the children’s age and safety when planning for the day. Michelle showed a great deal of enthusiasm with the children when participating in activities throughout the day. In return, the children have responded to Michelle’s enthusiasm with excitement for the activity that she planned. I recommend Michelle to any organization, especially those involving children. She is a hard worker and was a pleasure to work with. If you have any questions regarding Michelle, please email at rosalynbrown81@yahoo.com. Sincerely, Rosalyn Brown
I cannot express how happy I am that my daughter spent an amazing amount of time with Michelle MacDonald before she started her daycare Many Shades. She was her Daycare teacher and her smile and ideas made it an unbelieveable time for my daughter to learn and grow. I believe this daycare centre has a very balanced structure: during the day Johanna had a chance to learn different things with the guidance of Michelle as well as on her own. Michelle organized Various activities, such as, games, art, music times all organized to create a fantastic atmosphere for kids development. My daughter has learnt so much during her time with Michelle… what stuck out as important to me was: that she learned the concept for sharing, being part of a group, independence. I also loved the idea of how she got the children involved in Michelle's activities. Johanna's proud and happy faces when she helped Michelle create an amazing piece of art, I realised how much such things help to grow her self-esteem. I quickly realised why kids loved and respected Michelle so much. During the time I have known Michelle I watched her as she gave respect for each child and encouraged them all to be the best that they can possibly be, by doing so Michelle had created a unique relationship with not only just my daughter, but with all children. cmpanas@telus.net
